In just 5 minutes per week!

I’m grateful to see how Get In The Fight is helping men like you and me step up to become the husbands, fathers, and followers of Jesus we’re called to be. As we look ahead to 2025, I’m working hard to grow this ministry so we can make an even bigger impact.
From Christ-centered courses to the launch of 1-on-1 coaching (coming soon!) for those ready for deeper accountability and personalized help, there are exciting things on the horizon.
Keep an eye out for more coming soon, and in the meantime, if you’re not already part of our (free!) Fight Club, now’s the time to jump in and start growing stronger every day!
Question of the Week:
"How can I build a spiritual routine that actually sticks?"
3 Actions or Ideas
1. Start Small, Stay Consistent
Don’t overcomplicate this. Begin with 10-15 minutes each morning or evening. Start with one Bible chapter, a quick prayer, or a short reflection. Small, consistent steps are better than trying to overhaul everything at once. Consistency is the key to long-term winning. Just get started and then get better along the way.
2. Create a Routine Around Your Life
Look for natural gaps in your day where you can focus on God more easily. Maybe it’s your lunch break, before the kids wake up, or during your commute to (or from) work. Match up your spiritual habits with your existing routines, like praying while you walk or listening to the Bible in the car. I know one guy who drove hours and hours for work each week. He turned his car into a classroom and grew with Christ like crazy! Do what works for you.
3. Be Ruthless About Eliminating Distractions
Pick a spot and time where you can be fully present. This is definitely easier said than done but SUPER important if you want to create spiritual routines that actually work! Put your phone on airplane mode, turn off notifications, and let your family know this is your quiet time with God. Protect it fiercely.

Why This Matters
Developing a consistent spiritual routine isn’t just a good idea—it’s a game-changer for your faith. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:33, “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Making God your FIRST priority sets the tone for everything else in life.
When you commit to building a spiritual routine that actually works, you’re fighting apathy and complacency head-on. These enemies of your life want you to drift through it without purpose (I know because this was me for a long time!), but new spiritual routines create a foundation of honor, discipline, strength, and - ultimately - joy!
Remember, you’re not just building a routine for today—you’re laying a foundation for tomorrow too. Your kids, your wife, and even your brothers in Christ are watching. So be the man God meant for you to be in 2025, one consistent step at a time.
