If Elon Musk brought his D.O.G.E. team to your house and audited your life - what do you think they'd find?
That's what I was thinking the other day as I was watching the news and seeing people freaking out over Elon and his team cutting and slashing waste in our government.
This team of self-proclaimed "nerds" runs algorithms to investigate every nook and cranny of each government agency in order to find inefficiencies, waste, and fraud.
As much as some people HATE this idea (guilty people always do!), I think it might be good for all of us to do the same.
Think about what an audit of your life might find or reveal about you.
How well are you taking care of your finances?
Your spiritual life?
Your family?
Your mindset?
Your health?
What are you saying is important to you - but you're not actually living like it is?
What's the truth about how well you are growing as a husband, father, follower of Jesus, or man?
An audit of your life will reveal what's truly true of you.
Now, let's be honest.
If an auditor showed up to your house and demanded your records, it would be a stressful time. But when it comes to auditing your life, you should totally do it and request this type of information freely.
Why?
Because your life matters and God has great plans and purposes for you. He has a mission for you and what you do here in this life will transfer with you to the next.
